Bountiful Basket

I don't know exactly why people (including myself) that get a Bountiful Basket need to post a picture of all the good stuff they got (at least once), I just know I do. So here it is.

Look at all the good stuff we got this week :) I volunteered (at 6a.freakin m.)so I got to get extra strawberries - yum.

I've never cooked an artichoke before. If one of my many/two readers have any tips, I would love them.

Brandon's Birthday!

Brandon turned 6 years old!

First day of Kindergarten

Brandon has now been in Kindergarten for a couple of weeks and he really loves it! He rides the bus everyday and really looks forward to going everyday.

Here are some pictures of his first day. Brandon is a serious clown, I could barely get a normal pose out of him. I kept asking him to stand up nice and straight and give me a smile and this is what I got. Still, I think he is the cutest, most wonderful kid in the world :).

Making a lío

When I was little, whenever we got to cook with our Dad we always would call it "making a lío". Lío is spanish for mess. Probably because we always left a nice lío for my Mom or Abuela to clean, but it was always so much fun :) Brandon says he wants to be a cook when he grows up and it is probably because Ben makes cooking so enjoyable :).

Bridger turned 3!

Back in August our little man Bridger turned 3!

Picture Update

I haven't taken the time to post anything, so I thought I'd just post a few pictures of the last few months.

When we went to Catalina for our anniversary the kids got to spend time at Grandma and Grandpa Jensen's house. When we got back, we all went to Hogle Zoo together. I love these cousin pictures. Bridger made some goofy faces. Also, I love the sweater he is wearing, Ben's Mom found it in a old box or something because I forgot to pack one for him, it used to be Ben's or Dan's. I just love the vintage look :)

Bridger loves puzzles and loves perfection, he'll play with it for hours sometimes.

In May I ran in the Great Potato 10k with one of my friends. It was really fun. 1ok is my favorite running distance.

Ben took Brandon camping. They had a really fun time.

S'mores + fishing = tons of fun!

They slept in the car because our tent was busted. Brandon was happy to be protected from the bears, but Ben was a little cramped :)

We wen't down to Burley, Idaho for Ben's triathlon - The Spudman. It was a lot of fun. We stayed in an awesome hotel. I didn't know they had hotel rooms like this in the US. It was just so cool how you could walk in a room and feel like you were in a 3rd world country. Magic ;)

Ben did amazing! This was his first triathlon, so he wasn't sure how it would go, but he did great. He did it with his good friend Spencer, so it was a lot of fun to have a friend doing it with him.

I don't think Ben will be happy I posted a picture of him in his spandex, but he was the Studman (of the The Spudman). Wow, that was a good line.
