New Favorite Appliances

We bought a new blendtec blender because we've been buying crappy blenders like every year and after our last one started to leak we both decided to wait until we could buy a really good blender, so we finally bought this awesome one. Being a former Zuka Juice employee, I can truly appreciate a good blender and a good smoothie. I am loving this thing, we use it just about everyday. You can make ice cream, smoothies, soups, jams, salsa, batters, I mean seriously, it is awesome.

We also caved and bought a dishwasher. We LOVE it. It works great, it has  3 years of warranty and it's quiet. No complaining here :)

Congrats on the new kitchen toys!
I agree most blenders are pretty crappy, someday we will do the same and spring for a really nice one.

As for dishwashers, I admit, I'm a spoiled brat. In my mind, living without a dishwasher is a-kin to living without electricity. Possible... sure, but not interested in doing it if there is anyway I can get around it.

I'm so jealous of your blender. As a fellow former Zuka employee, I can't stand mine!

When I taught literacy in Mexico, we were all washing our clothes in the river and some of the women were saying how they couldn't believe we had machines that did this work. But then they said "but at least you don't have a machine to wash your dishes!" and laughed. We didn't say a word.

Isn't it amazing how these little things make life so much easier?

Our first dishwasher was with this move, and I wouldn't trade it for the world! How I ever survived without one for 10 years is beyond me!

I totally want one but I've got a vita mix that works alright.

Rachel's story is halarious and also humbling. We are SOOO spoiled.

I don't think I can talk Keaka into it but I am looking into this one http://www.montelwilliams.com/health-master.html?gclid=COT_68S8yZoCFRBbagodW3Np2Q

I totally got sucked into this infomercial. It's only $200

Woohoo! A nice blender is very important! I don't think I could survive without my dishwasher. I just found out how important my washing machine was when it decided to die on us! I depend on my appliances too much.
