Bridger is 2 months old

Bridger is 2 months old as of yesterday. He is smiling and cooing a lot more. My mom came this weekend and we had a great time. Brandon loves to see her and play with her. It was a fun weekend.

Potty Training

Brandon has been actually pretty easy to potty train, of course we arent done yet, but I think we're getting close. I was expecting it to be really really hard, but maybe it's because he's pretty old, but he picked it up fast with a couple lollipops and a couple bribes he is well on his way. Saturday he pooped in the toilet for the first time, I almost took a picture I was so happy. Just kidding, but it was a momentous occasion. Today Brandon wanted to wear his underwear, so I took some pics, he looked so cute. In the first picture he is posing like popeye, showing off his strong arms. When we started potty training we tried to bribe him with some spiderman underwear or some other cool underwear, he seems to feel pretty strongly about wearing only white underwear. I asked him again if he wanted some cars underwear (like the movie) or spiderman and he said "No, I don't want any man or anything on my underwear, I only want white," so, I'm kind of bummed, I like the character underwear :(

Backyard Update

Ben finished the fence. It is so nice to let Duncan out and not have to watch him :) Makes me very happy.

What you're looking at here is our best patch :D
We decided to seed and just see what we get, as you can see not much. A couple patches here and there. But, were proud of our patches.

Pictures Galore

The best thing happened last night, Bridger slept through the night!! That was the first time and I hope it will keep happening. Ben and I are dying for some good sleep. I weighed Bridger on the bathroom scale this morning and it said he weight 15 lbs. it has got to be off, that is huge, but even if it's close... He is a pretty hefty kid.

This is me looking very mommish.

Brandon is always asking me to hold Bridger and take a picture.

I bought this bumbo seat for Bridger, but as soon as Brandon saw he carried it around everywhere to sit in it. As you can see it really isn't for a kid his size. I finally had to put it away. Funny kid.

More of the fence is done. The end is in sight. We (meaning Ben) just need to finish the rest of the fence a sprinkler thing and the patio. I keep telling Ben that it doesn't sound like much :)

This is Brandon with a few of his many faces. He can be SO cute!

Ben hard at work

This is a picture of Ben, overseeing a project here in Idaho. Looks pretty hard :) I don't really know exactly what he does, but I do know that he does a great job. A mighty fine job.

Bridger is 6 weeks old!

This kid is a chunk! He is starting to smile at us a little more consistently, so we're pretty sure they are real smiles and not the fakie reflex smiles. (Just incase some of you don't know, you can click on any of the pictures to make it bigger if that is your desire :)

Hannah came for a visit

Hannah came for a visit. It was so fun to have her come. She came for a couple days and she helped me out with Brandon and Bridger. We went into Boise and had lunch and walked around a bit. She also watched the kids so that Ben and I could go on a date (very much needed). I love Hannah. Can't wait to having her come again, next time with her baby.

Pumkin Patch

We went to a local pumkin patch they had a bunch of fun things for Brandon to do. He LOVED it. He went on in a mini maze and got to go on some blow up slide things and ride a tractor train. Anyway, it was a really fun family night for us.

Backyard Update

So, Ben is almost finished putting in the rock patio and he's planted some bushes around it. The sprinklers are finished and the yard is mostly weeded. Last week Ben put the posts in for the back fence and last night we seeded the backyard. Ben has been working a ton in the backyard. I can't believe how long things can take. Hopefully we'll start to see a little grass soon so we don't have a mud pit for a backyard over the winter.

Don't you love this time of year? What a great day October 1st is. It makes it feel like it's already fall. I love the good feeling this time of year brings. Anyway, just thought I'd let you all know how much I like today.
