August 30th was Ben's Golden Birthday! He turned 30!!!

For Bens birthday we went down to Utah again and Ben & his Dad went to the BYU game. They won, of course, so that helped make this trip a really fun & happy trip.

Happy Birthday Bridger!

Bridger First Birthday! 

I can hardly believe that a year has gone by. Bridger is so amazing to us. We love him so much. 

Things Bridger loves: loves crawling over, under, between us; he loves fruits & vegetables; he loves Brandon; he loves being chased; crawling up the stairs; escaping out a door he isn't supposed to go through; getting his four teeth brushed; he loves looking over the the banister at the people down below; he loves Us & Duncan; he loves carrying things in his mouth; he love to try and play with the VCR or a remote; he loves to have baby talk conversations, and so much more.  Bridger is such a happy baby!

Well, I haven't taken the time to do any blog stuff lately, but we're all home from church with a cold, so I thought I would put some of our recent pictures on here.

My brother Bob (aka Rob) and his family stayed the night when they came through Boise on their way to Portland. It was nice to see them and Brandon loved having is cousins over. I'm really glad they came by it was really awesome to get to hang out.

Spencer & Erin and Parker also came for a visit. We had the best time with them.  We wished they could have stayed forever! Seriously, come back.

Friday, was Ben's work party. It was really fun with really good food. 

Bridger is turning 1 this week!!! Can you believe it?! And Ben is having his Golden birthday on the 30th, so it's going to be a fun week.

Brandon dressed himself earlier this week and thought he looked pretty great with shorts over pants.

Garden delights

We went to the state fair this weekend, Brandon actually went on a ride without crying, probably because Ben could go on it with him. But it was a lot of fun!

Favorite Grilled Cheese Sandwich

I currently have a favorite sandwich that I thought I share with you all. It is so good for a summer lunch. 

Ingredients: Bread, Havarti Cheese, tomatoes, fresh basil, honey, pepper and butter for the grilling.  Put it all together and grill in a pan.

Oh my gosh it is so good, I think I'll go make another one right now!

Charlie & Lola

Maybe I'm the only one, but I really love the show Charlie and Lola. Brandon really likes it now, but for awhile I would sort of make him watch it because I liked it so much. If you haven't seen it, it's about these cute brother and sister, they are English and they speak ever so funny. Anyway, if you get a chance watch it, they're really funny and not super annoying like so many cartoons. Also, I think that it is very creative and artisic, which I'm keen on :)
